The following is intended as a guide for packing and despatching hard disk drives.
When sending a hard disk drive to Griffin Forensics for a forensic examination, it is essential to make sure it is well packaged in an anti-static bag or clam shell within a strong secure box.
Place the hard disk drive into an anti-static bag or clam shell. If you do not have either of these email your details to info@griffinforensics.com and we will send you an anti-static bag free of charge.
Find a good quality sturdy cardboard box and place the hard disk drive inside. Use either foam or polystyrene chips to fill in around the hard disk drive.
Remember to include your name, contact details and Griffin reference number (if known) so we know who has sent it.
Seal the cardboard box and clearly address it to: Griffin Forensics Ltd, Silverstone Innovation Centre, Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone Northamptonshire
NN12 8GX.
We recommend you send your parcel with a reputable courier service or use Royal Mail’s First Class Recorded or Special Delivery service. Alternatively, you are welcome to personally deliver the hard
disk drive to our offices.
